Nearly 50,000 people attend every year to remember the rich history of Jackson Ward.  You will enjoy live music -r&b, gospel and jazz from October 5 through October 6 on four stages. The headliners this year are National Recording Artist Morris Day and the Time, Be’La Dona and Maggie Ingram & the Ingramettes. There is the marketplace, children activities and dancing in the streets.   Radio One Inc. will broadcast live this Saturday from 12pm-7pm at 2nd and Leigh Streets.  Please join our family for fun, food and prizes. We will put some purpose in the party by giving you an opportunity to get registered to vote  and/or start the process of getting your rights restored if convicted of a felony.
