Petersburg, VA — Virginia State University (VSU) celebrated the kick off to their 2013 Homecoming festivities with a Gospel Concert on Sunday (October 13, 2013) at Daniel Gymnasium on the campus of Virginia State University.
Kicking off with Sankofa, the dance team for VSU, the group was followed by special guests for the evening including the dance team of Sisterly Grace, Sunday Best Season 6 runner up Kefia Rollerson, Elder Patrick Riddick and D’vyne Worship, who were simply amazing, and featured performers the quarterfinalist on this year’s season of “America Got Talent” Virginia State University Gospel Choral who left the stage with evening on their feet
The groups were all powerful in their delivery from their dance moves to their amazing vocals abilities with tight harmonies and perfect song selections for the evening.
Sheilah Belle, The Belle served as the host emcee for the evening.
