Less than 48 hours after Gospel recording artist Tasha Cobbs had one of the biggest nights in her professional career with a first time win with a Stellar award for “New Artist of The Year,” the singer received tragic news of the sudden death of her father.
There are many people praying for the singer of “Break Every Chain” including many in the Gospel music industry.
Gospel singer, Producer and Radio Personality James Fortune posted on his social media Monday morning about the death of Cobbs father. ‘”Please pray for @tashacobbs and family. Her father passed away suddenly just moments ago. We are praying for you sis! Love you!”
In Cobbs post, she did not make mention the passing of her father but she did thank everyone for their prayers and support. “Hey Family! Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! They are felt! Love You Guys!” posted Cobbs.
