About Bishop Joel Brown

Bishop Joel V. Brown is an anointed teacher, preacher and prophet.  His ministry parallels with the Prophet Joel in that he walks with the prophetic mantel on his life.

Bishop Brown is the Founder and President of Vincent Ministries Inc., a non-profit organization. The mission of this organization includes re-establishing Kingdom values in the marketplace, and assisting young men and women in reaching the potential that God has for their lives.  Bishop Brown, Vincent Ministries and New Jerusalem ICM have established an initiative to fight the war on domestic and sexual violence, by being a part of the Coordinated Domestic Violence Response Team in Chesterfield County, Virginia.

Bishop Brown is the son of Chief Apostle Olive C. Brown and the late, Bishop James F. Brown, Jr.  He is a native and resident of Richmond, Virginia, where he received his formal education in various Catholic schools in the Richmond area.  He has attended Virginia Union University, the Evans-Smith School of Theology, and John Tyler Community College.   Bishop Brown has been employed by Circuit City Stores (CCS) Corporate Division in Richmond, Virginia. Within CCS he was promoted to positions in the, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania Divisions. Bishop Brown was then recruited by CarMax to operate in their Information Systems Dept., Richmond, Virginia.  

In 1992, he was ordained Elder in the International Christian Ministries.  From 1993 to 1996, he served as Founder and Pastor of Word and Power International Christian Ministries in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Upon returning home, he served as the Youth Pastor for New Jerusalem International Christian Ministries, and as one of the Praise Leaders. 

In 2004, he was appointed Pastor of New Jerusalem International Christian Ministries and 1st Vice President of International Christian Ministries.  In March of 2007, he was consecrated to the office of Bishop under the hand of Chief Apostle Olive C. Brown and Co-Consecrator Bishop Perry W. Jenkins Sr.  As Pastor of New Jerusalem International Christian Ministries, his goal is to teach the whole man to prosper in the knowledge of Christ.
