TBR–JR/PR — New York, NY — Prayers are being requested for the family of Joan Rivers, after the announcement of her death in a New York hospital. It was just six days when Rivers was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing during a minor procedure at the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic last Thursday.
However today, Comedian Joan Rivers died at the age of 81 years old.
Her daughter Melissa confirmed that her mother passed at 1:17p.m. (Thursday, September 4, 2014) in the afternoon in New York.
In the meantime, it’s being reported that filming has been suspended for “Fashion Police” which Joan Rivers co-hosts.”
Funeral services are currently slated to take place for Rivers on Sunday at the Temple Emanu-El in Manhattan.
