Richmond, VA – One of the longest running outdoor festivals returned to Richmond, VA over the weekend, as 2nd Street Festival once again turned back the hands of time and brought the heart and soul of Richmond’s African American community to its downtown.

Thousands turned out for the two day weekend in Richmond’s historic Jackson Ward community to hear live music on four stages. The annual FREE event also offered Children’s activities, Delicious food, Vendors, dancing and more.

Some of this year’s special guests included Larry Bland & the Volunteer Choir featuring “Promise”, Sisterly Grace Dance Ministries, Debo Dabney and The Happy Band, Doors Wide Open, Johnny Houston & The Legends, F.A.B.C. Youth Choir, Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church Music & Movement Ministries and many others.

Guest emcee’s this year included Sheilah Belle, The Belle and J.R. Davis.
