Chris:
As you can see from his picture, this sweet boy needed Henrico Humane’s help more than most. Chris was found wandering in Powhatan, starving for food and attention. He was skin and bones and had developed diabetes.
Henrico Humane took him in, got him some much needed medical attention and as much food as he wanted, and he’s already starting to improve. In fact, the vet hopes that this sweet boy may be able to overcome his diabetes once he reaches a healthy weight with a healthy diet.
For now though, Chris is searching for a foster or a forever family who can help with his daily medical care. Chris will be sponsored by HHS, so medical costs related to his diabetes will be paid for.

Alice:
This little lady is Alice, who is a beagle approximately 4 years in age. You could not ask for a more friendly dog. She adores people and does well with dogs too (cats are unknown at this time).
Alice does not like to be crated but loves to be with people and other animals. She came to Henrico Humane from a rural shelter most recently. A family who is looking for a love bug – look no further – this is your girl!
