“Jumpin’ The Broom” is bound to bring discussions of weddings into the forefront once more. Do we think about all marriage entails. It’s more than just the pretty big party. There is an old saying that when you marry someone you marry their family. Have we all considered that fact lately?

Bishop TD  Jakes tackles this subject as executive producer of “Jumpin’ The Broom”. The plot is about two families who live on opposite sides of the social circle and have to get together for a marriage in the town of Chilmark on the island of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, where two members from both families will be wed. Film was actually shot in Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia, Canada.*New film “Jumping the Broom” challenges  the idea that a man and woman can’t keep their goodies tucked away until marriage. The movie is based on the story of two love birds holding onto their promise to God to stay pure and withhold from having sex until that sacred day.
