New York, NY — On the heels of the stunning release of Kirk Franklin’s HELLO FEAR, which is the #1 Gospel CD in the country for the 5th consecutive week, Verity Gospel Music Group has also secured a dominant position on the radio and sales charts.  The label has four CDs in the Top-10 on Billboard’s Gospel Sales chart, and three of the Top-10 songs at Gospel radio.

On the Gospel Sales chart, HELLO FEAR is #1; WOW GOSPEL 2011 is #5; Deitrick Haddon’s CHURCH ON THE MOON is #8 and PLAYLIST:  THE VERY BEST OF MARVIN SAPP is #9.  At Gospel radio, Franklin’s “I Smile” is #1 for the 4th consecutive week, and continues to gain spins.  Haddon’s “Well Done” is #4 at Gospel radio, and Sapp’s “He Has His Hands on You” is #9.  Franklin’s HELLO FEAR is also #4 on Billboard’s R&B chart and #5 with a bullet at Urban AC radio.

While these projects continue to gain momentum, Verity is gearing up for exciting summer releases from 21:03, Donald Lawrence and Richard Smallwood.  Smallwood’s new single “Trust Me” entered the radio chart at #20 with a bullet and is one of this week’s most added songs at Gospel radio.

With an outstanding roster of superbly talented, multiple-award winning artists, expect Verity Gospel Music Group to keep putting out music that inspires the heart, uplifts the soul and warms the spirit.  “It is a very exciting time for us as a company and it is always an honor to work with the best artists in Gospel music.  We are looking forward to a busy, but successful, next few months,” says James “Jazzy” Jordan, EVP, Verity Gospel Music Group.
