My Block/Columbia Records recording artists Mary Mary has partnered with Pillsbury Egg Scrambles and Grands Biscuit Sandwiches to launch the “Do Something Big” initiative. This program is a nationwide challenge to churches to “Do Something Big” for their communities. The competition, which ends on Nov. 18, looks for churches to pick a meaningful need within their community, dream up a winning solution, and mobile their ministry into positive action. The GRAMMY winning duo will accept pastor-endorsed video submissions describing how participating churches helped to better their community.

The group will select their top three finalists based on creativity, inspiration, and impact on the community. Finalists’ videos will then enter a public voting round where the winning church will be announced on December 6th, 2011. The winning church will receive a one-hour, Mary Mary concert complete with a live band at the winning church and a breakfast sponsored by Pillsbury’s new frozen breakfast line. The contest will be housed and entries can be submitted to the group’s fan site located at ILoveMaryMary.com.
