Richmond, VA — The Saints Paul’s Baptist Church family, under the leadership of Dr. Lance D. Watson, Senior Pastor, came out to ROCK the Diamond baseball stadium for their Sunday morning worship service.  Gates opened at 8am and church members trickled into the out stadium well after 10am, as they braved the warm temperatures and sunshine.

Following praise and worship, and dressed in white jeans and a purple sports jersey with “Rev” written across the back, was Dr. Lance D. Watson, who recognized the 600 volunteers and thanked them for their support as well as the many other sponsors of the days event, including Radio One.

Keeping things moving, Pastor Watson introduced Tye Tribbett, who is never short on energy and performed a few of his hits and then Jonathan Nelson who performed two of his top charting hits, including “Expect the Great” and “Victory.”

Pastor Watson then made his way back to centerfield, prayed and then delivered the morning message.

Following the morning worship service was a baseball game, where Pastor Watson also threw out the first pitch.

Also available throughout the day were free health screenings and fitness activities; including the Virginia Blood Bank Mobile and lots of games and activities for the kids – sponsored by Radio Disney and the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

This was really a great day for Worshiping the Lord outdoors.

Well done to the St. Paul’s Baptist Church family.
