Washington, DC — Michael G. Marshall and The College Gospel Choir movement is taking the airwaves by storm with their first single, “When I See Jesus,” off their upcoming project One Voice Live. After just two weeks of airplay, the single has entered the Billboard Gospel Radio Top 100 at number 61.

Known for producing an authentic, big sound and possessing a masterful directing ability, Michael G. Marshall leads the movement to preserve the legacy of college gospel choirs with this project. The College Gospel Choir is comprised of diverse singers representing the changing demographic of college gospel choirs, from schools such as Alabama A&M University, Alabama State University, Benedict College, Berry College, Cedarville University, Jackson State University, Jacksonville State University, University of Alabama, University of Oklahoma, University of Iowa, University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  

One Voice Live is the first project for ATM Records, with 12 songs that will speak to audiences, transcending generational barriers, with both throwback gospel hits and new music written by the next generation of choir members and leaders. The project is set to be released nationally January 22, 2013, with a CD release concert to be held during the historical 2013 Presidential Inaugural Weekend in Washington, DC.   

The One Voice Live project is produced by GRAMMY® and multiple Stellar award winner Cedric Thompson and co-produced by Courtney Franklin.  Also featured on the project are up and coming singers and top names in gospel music such as Kim Burrell, Earnest Pugh, Jonathan Nelson, Jason Nelson, Shae Norman, Nikki Ross, Shea Simpson, LeJuene Thompson, Prince Yelder, and Jamel Strong share on this historic project.
