Charles Jenkins just might have had the biggest song of the year with the hit “Awesome” that literally changed the face of urban worship music. He and the members of his accompanying vocal group Fellowship Chicago barely got through the first line of the song before the audience of thousands nearly drowned them out by singing along. If you were there you’ll remember that very special moment that had all of us near tears hearing that many people lifting their voice all at once.
