40 days of Lent, and Sacrifice, and as it comes to an end, I reflect on everything that Jesus went through during this same period. Later returning to people who would kill him, regardless of all of the good that he had done, the miracles he performed, bringing the dead back to life, causing the blind to see and causing the lame to walk.
YET After all of that…
They hung him high, they stretched him wide, he hung his head and for me and you He died, thats Love! Thats Love! But that’s not how the story ends, three days later He rose Again, thats Love. Thats Love! Good Friday. Easter weekend. Make no mistake, thats what today and this weekend is ALL about!
