Atlanta, GA — Still celebrating the success of his first recording with his church choir, “Hart Ramsey & The NCC Family Choir: Next Now!” Pastor Hart Ramsey has another reason to celebrate.  The 8th Annual Atlanta Gospel Fest Music, Health and Wellness Festival honored him this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia with the Pastor of the Year Award.

Founded by Dr. Rikki Brooks, she shares, “we always look to honor a Pastor that is making an impact in their community and really changing the world. Pastor Ramsey is a perfect fit for this honor.”

“I thank God for the opportunity to Pastor his people. I love my NCC Family and those that God has so generously entrusted to us. It is my honor to teach his message of love and grace.”

Pastor Ramsey has made it his purpose in life to teach grace to those that believe they aren’t worthy of another chance because of poor choices, bad decisions or just the curve ball called life. He understands and shares that it is only because of God’s grace, that any of us are able to live the lives we don’t deserve. He also is extremely blessed to conduct a monthly Mentorship Program that’s available to pastors and leaders.

Beyond pastoring two locations and being an accomplished musician, he also is on the front line of integrating social media into his methods to change the world. He is affectionately known as a Twitter Pastor because of his powerful use of the social media network, he provides an “Uplift” tweet to his online community of thousands. These “Uplift” tweets are so powerful, that they are then selected and sent out via text message by his marketing team to his growing list of over 15,000 subscribers. Just check Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and even Pinterest anytime after 3:30pm any day of the week, and you will find it blowing up with mentions his #uplift text of the day.
