Pastor Jeffrey Reaves is a humble servant of God with a Pastor’s heart. He regards I Timothy 1:12 which says, “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to His service to be the scriptural text that sums up his personal perspective to ministry.
He is a native of Bronx , New York , born to the union of Rev. Hubert Reaves and Bettie Reaves. He is married to the former Ramona Tynes and has two children, a son, Jeffrey II, and a daughter, Jasmine.
Rev. Reaves has been preaching the Gospel of Christ for 34 years and serving in Pastoral Ministry for 28 years. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Petersburg , Virginia .
Academically prepared, Pastor Reaves received his education from Bronx Community College , Virginia State University and the New York Theological Seminary.
