JAMES FORTUNE & FIYA – “IDENTITY” DEBUTS AT NUMBER ONE
Congratulations to our brother in Christ James Fortune & his phenomenal ensemble FIYA for their triumphant return to the Gospel music charts with the release of their latest project “Identity” (available January 17th). The smoldering new album has landed in the top spot on three Billboard music charts as of January 25th – Gospel, Gospel & Christian (combined) and Independent Albums.
This marks James Fortune’s biggest and best first week sales to date and his highest chart position. In addition to achieving these top slots, the new album “Identity” has also earned it’s way into the Top 10 position on the Billboard Top 200 Chart coming in at Number 7.
We’re sure this is only the beginning for James Fortune & FIYA as “Identity” makes its way to our station, our CD players and our hearts. Congratulations once again to James Fortune! We couldn’t be more proud!
