Washington, D.C. – A few surprises for the top ten line up on Billboard’s Gospel Chart. Starting with Gospel recording artist Shirley Caesar who re-enters the chart this week at #4 with Ultimate Collection. William McDowell’s Arise takes over the #1 spot as Kirk Franklin moves to #2 with Hello Fear. LeAndria Johnson is at #3 with The Awakening of LeAndria Johnson and LeCrae takes the #5 spot with Rehab.
As for DC several area artists they charted, Maurette Brown Clark is #20 with Sound of Victory and her single, “I Hear the Sound (of Victory)” is #7 on the Gospel Songs chart. Earnest Pugh is #23 with Earnestly Yours and holds down the #2 spot with “I Need Your Glory” on the Gospel Songs chart. Shai Linne re-enters the chart at #28 with The Attributes of God. Richard Smallwood with Vision is #45 with Promises.
