Grammy Award winner Karen Clark Sheard is back at radio with the recently released single “Prayed Up”.
The lead single from her forthcoming album “All In One,” “Prayed Up’ has been gaining momentum over the last week at radio station’s nationwide.
“Karen Clark Sheard brings a fresh new flavor. She is an undeniable music force in the gospel music industry,” says Dale Murray of WXEZ.
As previously reported, the single and album are the first efforts to be released on Clark-Sheard’s label Karew Records.
Featuring production from her son, J. Drew Sheard III, “All In One” is due in stores April 6, 2010.
In related news, Karen Clark Sheard joins Deitrick Haddon, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Rance Allen and Drew Sidora in the forthcoming film ‘Blessed and Cursed’.
A behind the scenes look at the film, which is due for release June 15, 2010, was released this week. Watch the video below (or HERE). A soundtrack for ‘Blessed and Cursed,’ featuring Voices of Unity, is also due for release this summer.
