Today’s guests Varina District Supervisor Tyrone Nelson, Deputy County Manager for Administration/Henrico County Joe Casey and Fairfield District School Board Member Lamont Bagby will discuss the 4% meals tax on prepared food for the county. In fact, this will be a referendum on the voter ballot next Tuesday, November 5. If you vote “yes” Henrico County will collect approximately $18 million a year in operational costs and improvements for schools.

Please view the log of localities that will have referendums on the ballot next Tuesday. Chesterfield County will have three questions on the ballot for capital improvement projects for schools, public safety and a 2% meals tax increase.
