TBR — Blackstone, VA — Reverend Travis L. C. Warren, First Lady Letita Warren, the Women/Mother’s day committee and the church family of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Blackstone, VA welcomed Sheilah Belle, The Belle as their guest speaker for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 11:00am.
After recognizing several women in the church with special gifts, including Roberta Bolling, the Great Great Aunt of The Belle, and several special selections from the Men’s Choir and the Lighting of the candle, Rev. Warren said, “When I asked The Belle, if she were a Pastor or a Reverend she said no. However today, we will be recognizing her as Minister Belle. So church stretch your arms this way and say, ‘Minister Belle, bring forth the word’ “. It was a powerful moment as God was gently making a spiritual transition that was received by The Belle.
Speaking from the biblical passage of Proverbs 4:23, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life,” The Belle talked to the women on the topic off “Getting Your Life Back.”
From emotional highs to straight talk with no chaser, Sunday morning service at Spring Hill Baptist Church was truly blessed followed by tons of pictures taken, selfies, autographs signed, and light refreshments that included delicious cupcakes.
Spring Hill Baptist Church is truly a blessed and amazing place of Worship with people who love God, who are strong supporters of their community and are there for one another from their church family to having the back of their pastor!
