Virginia State Delegate and attorney Joe Morrissey has been indicted on five charges which included supervisory indecent liberties with a minor, electronic solicitation of a minor, possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The investigation began after the father of the victim contacted police back in August of 2013. It’s been noted that the teenaged victim had lied about her age in order to work at Morrissey’s office.

Delegate Morrissey has been released on his own personal recognizance and his attorney’s are calling the felony counts against him “baseless” and “without any factual support.”.

If Morrissey is convicted of the pending felony charges, he will lose law license again and possibly serve over 30 years behin bars!
