LAKE MARY, FL- Here we go again with George Zimmerman involved in yet another shooting. You remember this man. He was acquitted by a Florida jury over the fatal shooting death of Trayvon Martin back in 2012. However earlier today, he was involved in a shooting in Lake Mary, Florida, however this time, it was Zimmerman who was shot.
The police chief there said that he suffered a minor gunshot wound.
According to our CBS news affiliate, “He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” witness Ricardo Berrare told WESH-TV. “They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door.”
Police now say that the shooting is currently under investigation, but might be a result of some type of road rage.
Police said there were no fatalities in the shooting.
