Which GOP candidates had the most talk time at the GOP debate Wednesday night?

Register to vote and check on your voter status at the Virginia Department of Elections. The voter registration deadline to vote in the presidential primary is Monday, February 8th. And, the presidential primary is Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

Let’s see two seating first-term senators in Congress had the most talk time at Wednesday night’s Republican presidential debate. Texas Senator Ted Cruz had the floor for just under 16 minutes, while Florida’s Marco Rubio has slightly more than 13 and-a-half minutes to state his platform for the American people. Rubio held the mic for eight seconds more than frontrunner Donald Trump. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and retired neurosurgeon had some airtime within half-a-minute of one another, followed by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, and Ohio Governor John Kasich.

About last night, Jeb took a jab at the Donald. In last night’s CNN debate, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush called Donald Trump a “chaos candidate”  who would be a “chaos president.” Trump ‘with the look’ glanced at Bush and said the U.S. needs toughness and strength. Bush responded by saying Trump cannot insult his way to the presidency. Bush does not back down, in fact, he argued that Trump’s proposal to bar Muslims from entering the U.S. is not serious and unworkable.

Lastly, which candidates are on Virginia’s presidential primary ballot? The ballot is set with three Democrats and 13 Republicans on the March 1st ballot. So, who is first on the ballot? The Board of Elections will do the drawing today to determine the order each candidate will appear on the ballot.
