TBR — Las Vegas, NV – It was one of the busiest Gospel Music weekends of the year, but just a few miles away it was LaShelle LaLa Crump’s, 6th Annual Listener’s Lounge, kicking off its 1st Blue Carpet Event at the Reconciliation Apostolic Ministries, 911 G Street, Las Vegas, NV. Only 24 hours from the center of the Stellar Awards main stage, hundreds of Independent Artists and Gospel Music Executives came together to spiritually pour into each others ministries with heart felt questions and answers in hopes of helping each other set a better precedence when it comes to representing the kingdom.

This year’s special guest panelists included industry executives Kelvin Chappell, Melvin Williams, Benita Bellamy, Roderick Jemison, Michelle Prather, Stan Jones, Pastor Vera Goodman, Morgan Turner and Sheilah Belle.

Before a packed church house, one by one, questions started to flow from “How to maintain visibility once your single is released?” to “What’s the best way to stay true to your musical gifts without compromising the Word of God?”

Those on the panel were never short on responses as they all shared a kindling spirit of staying true to God’s Word as well as love and respect to one another which spoke volume to the audience!

Following the panel discussion, independent artists, ministered and showcased their new music and were only allowed to do so, if they were in attendance during the panel discussion. The visionary and founder of the event, LaShelle LaLa Crump says, it is important for young artists to learn the business as well as sing, and if you are going to share her stage, you needed to listen to the panelists she pulled together.

Needless to say but the woman behind making this event happen, Crump, is quickly becoming known as the Queen of Indie Artistry Networking. Her heart is true to bringing knowledge to the babies in the industry, as she has been selective and careful in whom she chooses to sow seeds into her audience.

If you look on any of her social media outlets you will also find that Crump has long been known as one of the industry executives who always uplifts, empowers and encourages groups from all over the country.

Our prayer is that she continues to grow her ministry, touch the lives of those who attend her events and let me grow from the information they receive.
