April 12, 2016 is Equal Pay Day. What is this day all about? Well, this day represents the number of days the typical woman worker in the U.S. has worked this year to make her 2015 income equal to what a typical male worker earned in 12 months last year. President Obama is using this day to designate a national monument to protect the Washington, DC house that has been the headquarters of the National Woman’s Party since 1929.
