Durham City Councilwoman Jillian Johnson is petitioning for Durham police chief CJ Davis to investigate the officers that were involved in the shooting death of Frank Clark.

Councilwoman Johnson uncovered that there were excessive force complaints against the three officers involved in the shooting.

Johnson is raising concerns to see whether a second review of their personnel files warrants the firing of the officers. Durham police officers Charles Barkley, Monte Southerland and Charles Goss are the officers under scrutiny of previous allegations of excessive force.
