“A Celebration of Collaboration in Black History” – We are very excited about our upcoming educational, cultural, musical program. The world renowned Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University will be in full concert along with the One Voice Chorus Ensemble.  At T & T Promotions, we continue to develop programs that convey the value of collaboration and unity in the community. This year, we have partnered with The African American Heritage Committee of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the program will highlight several accounts of collaboration in Black History.

The Rosenwald Schools – “Booker T. Washington of the Tuskegee Institute and Julius Rosenwald, philanthropist and president of Sears Roebuck, built state-of-the art schools for African-American children across the South. The effort has been called the most important initiative to advance black education in the early 20th century.”

This celebration will take place at the historical Ebenezer Baptist Church on Sunday, February 19th @ 5:00pm. Tickets $10 – www.eventbrite.com.  We will enjoy our very own Sheilah Belle “The Belle of Radio One as Mistress of Ceremony along with several oral presentations of collaboration in black history one of which will be an account from a student who attended the Second Union Rosenwald School in Goochland County. We are looking forward to seeing you there!!
