The General Election is Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Virginia. There is the race for governor, lieutenant governor, Attorney General, House of Delegates, Richmond Sheriff and other local races. Register to vote or check your voter status here.
Virginia voters with a qualifying reason have the option of voting by absentee. Request an absentee ballot by mail through October 31, 2017 or vote in-person absentee voting through November 4, 2017.
One form of identification is needed to vote. Individuals can obtain a free photo I’D at their local registrar office.
