The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado hit a portion of Columbia Maryland on Thursday afternoon, shortly after 3:30pm. Fallen trees, partial roof removal on Broken Land Parkway and other significant damage.

No lives were lost.

Neighbors have already begun cleaning up and making sure that everyone was OK.
