Daytime hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walked off their daytime show “The View” after Bill O’Reilly indicated that the Fox News Channel majority shareholder funded lower Manhattan community center should not be built because “Muslims killed us on 9/11”.
“My God! That is such bullsh**,” an incensed Whoopi replied. “Extremists did that!”
“It doesn’t matter what they are,” Barbara Walters said, trying to calm the panel.
“You know what? I don’t want to sit here right now!” Joy said standing up. “I’m outraged by that statement! By what you just said!”
As the debate continued, Whoopi also got up from the couch and left the stage with Joy.
