Holly Robinson Peete is on top of her game. Not only has she outlasted tough competition on “Celebrity Apprentice” to remain among the last contestants standing, she’s also found the time to write a new children’s book.
Robinson Peete and her 11-year-old daughter, Ryan, collaborated on a book, “My Brother Charlie,” based on their own experiences with Ryan’s twin, RJ, who is autistic. Proceeds from the book will be donated to the HollyRod4Kids Foundation to assist families that have children with autism.
Sadly, the Peetes are not the only Hollywood family dealing with the mysterious disorder. Many people know that comic actress Jenny McCarthy’s son has autism, but Toni Braxton’s son and Tisha Campbell and Duane Martin’s firstborn son are also autistic.
