Sapp’s hit single “The Best Me” is just one week away from landing Sapp the honor of having a single chart at no.1 for twelve weeks !

Released this spring, Marvin Sapp’s “The Best In Me” became a runaway hit first reaching no.1 on the Gospel Songs chart during the week of March 13. “The Best In Me” follows Sapp’s hit single “Never Would Have Made It,” which spent over twenty weeks at no.1 on the same chart (Billboard Gospel Songs).

“The Best In Me” is also charting on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally, where it comes in at no.61 this week. The single is taken from Sapp’s 2010 effort “Here I Am”.
