Pastor Jamal Bryant and J. Moss
Richmond, VA – THIS was the weekend to be in Richmond, VA as concerts, and special presentations were non-stop.
Before reaching his set destination for the night, J. Moss made Praise 104.7 FM with The Belle his first stop. He talked about his new record, his love for producing and his upcoming tour that will be kicking off in February 2012.
J Moss stops by Praise 104.7 to talk to The Belle
At 5p.m. all roads led to the final “Fire on Friday” Church Service at St. Paul’s Baptist Church. Special guests included the churches own Voices of Vision Choir under the leadership of Patrick Newby, the Bomb Squad (Step Team) led by Alvin Fowlkes, followed by Gospel recording artist J Moss who was the guest psalmist and Pastor Jamal Bryant who was the guest speaker. This was a power filled night.
Moss, now boarder lining on being a living legend, was simply breathtaking as he ministered numerous of his back to back hit songs from “We Must Praise” to “Restored.” His passion for God’s love radiated through his high tenor voices as he connected with this packed crowd.
St. Paul’s Baptist Church’s Dr. Lance Watson, Senior Pastor, introduced Pastor Jamal Bryant, who truly brought the flames to Fire on Friday.
He came to the podium praying and prayed over the congregation until God’s presence had taken up all space, cracks and corners. He said, “We are praying tonight that the weight of depression, stress and anxiety be lifted. Whatever weight you’re feeling…may it be dead weight, God is about to remove it.”
Throughout the congregation, tears began to flow and hands waved in the air as God began releasing the very thing Pastor Bryant prayed and preached about.
It was a powerful night.
