The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is on the front lines in the fight against Breast Cancer. The organization’s Charlotte affiliate plays an integral role in providing education and awareness, as well as financial resources to help women not only battle Breast Cancer, but to survive and live an active life. Sarah Bailey, Director of Community Outreach for the Komen’s Charlotte affiliate and Reba Whaley, a Paralegal and Breast Cancer survivor, talked with ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, about the organization’s national and local efforts. Ms. Whaley also shared her journey and victory over Breast Cancer.
