The Richmond fire crews pulled a body from from the James River this morning.
Fire crews received a call at 10 am on Thursday for a possible body in the James River. They were able to retrieve the body at the deep end of the river near the 4700 block of Deepwater Terminal Road.
The body has yet to be identified. There’s no word on whether it’s connected to the disappearance of 15-year-old Emerson Joshua Zelaya, who was swept into the river on Tuesday near Mayo Bridge while swimming with friends.
