Virginia has an election every year which means the peoples’ voice should be heard on issues of healthcare, education, civil rights, justice, jobs and medicare. Every aspect of your life is decided on at the “stroke of a vote”. And, all politics are local.
There are 17 qualifying reasons to vote by absentee. Apply to vote by absentee here with the State Board of Elections. Qualified voters can vote absentee by mail through October 29. And, voters can vote in person through November 2.
The State Board of Elections (SBE), in partnership with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) have launched online voter registration for eligible citizens of the Commonwealth. Register to vote, check your status or update your information online here.
CLO FACT: You are not a registered voter until you received your voter registration card in the mail. The voter registration deadline is Tuesday, October 15.
