| Taye Diggs, Wanda Sykes and Michael Strahan were among the stars who announced the N-double-A-C-P‘s 2010 Image Awards nominees this morning in Los Angeles.The movie Precious earned a leading eight nominations, with nods for director Lee Daniels, star Gabourey Sidibe and supporting actors Mariah Carey, Mo’Nique, Paula Patton and Lenny Kravitz. It also received nods for Outstanding Motion Picture and Outstanding Independent Film.
On the music front, Jay-Z and Maxwell both received five nominations, followed by Alicia Keys with three and Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, and Rihanna with two each. The 41st annual Image Awards air live February 26th on Fox. |
