LIFE: Pray for your Frenemies. They often have issues with you because they don’t understand Gods Favor over your life! They may even try to block you, cut you and create a small seed of untruth about you…but God will always reveal the Truth about the situation… even reveal who the Frenemies are and their true agenda!
It’s amazing how God will reveal the truth to you about people, places and things, if you simply take the time to listen to what God has to say.
When it comes to Frenemies, please know they are real and they exist! From the workplace to the church house, you can find them, smiling in your face and giving you shade all at the same time.
This is why it is so important to stay connected to God and know the difference between friends and Frenemies!
Prayerfully here are a few tips that might help you, should you run across these people during your day!
- Often a Frenemy will project or attempt to dump their dysfunctions and low self esteem problems on you, which will ultimately affect any type of relationship they are involved in. Because they also know, that they have these dysfunctions, they have found a way to disguise it and will quickly become defensive if you say anything to addresses it.
- In Healthy Relationships, people say and do things to help a friend, rather than sit back to see how you won’t measure up., or how they can block you from an opportunity.
- Friendships should not be one sided. It’s unhealthy for you to reach out but never have the person you are in a relationship with to reach out to you.
- Frenemies have an inability to celebrate others, or when they do, they make it public for all to see, so they won’t look like a frenemy even though they know they are, and will always find a way to put the spotlight back on themselves.
- You will know your Frenemies by your inability to be transparent in conversation with them and will just not feel comfortable to share or trust them, because they will quickly take your ideas or conversations and flip them around for their own good or will attempt to make you look bad. Some Frenemies might even try to shut you down from saying anything, because of their attempt to control a conversation or the thought pattern.
Pay attention people!
Bottom line, let God direct you on who should be in or out of your personal space! Life is too short to be dealing with people hating on your and what God has blessed you with!
