Richmond, VA — Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, 65, Presider of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus Christ and Pastor of Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (formerly Prayer Tabernacle Church of Love) passed away on Monday night, (September 20th) following a fatal heart attack.

Bishop Moales, founding pastor of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, was also the presider over the states of Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. He was also President of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, Inc. which recently celebrated their 77th year of Gospel music ministry. He was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum for his many years of committed work in Gospel music.

Most recently, Bishop Moales just celebrated his 65th birthday with his church family and only months ago delivered the eulogy for the legendary and icon Walter Hawkins.

Bishop Kenneth Moales, Sr. is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lady Peggy Ann Moales, three children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
