*The attorneys of gospel artist Isaiah D. Thomas deny their client breached a recording contract previously held with Habakkuk Music Group.
The artists’ new label, Global Music Group (headed by Antonio Murchinson) responded to an injunction from Habakkuk (headed by April Washington-Essex) in a February 17 press release.
According to the release, not only is Thomas “free and clear of all past obligations to Habakkuk,” but also his newly released single “I Dare You” has charted on Radio and Records.
“I am grateful for a brand new opportunity to minister Gods’ Word thru Song,” says Thomas. “God made away to produce this second album even when companies walked away.”
