Richmond, VA – Radio One Richmond, WPZZ-FM, Praise 104.7 FM, Your Inspiration Station, hosted their Annual St. Jude Radiothon on Thursday, March 31st, 2011 from 6a-7p.

The broadcast began during The Yolanda Adams Morning Show from 6a-10a, along with Program Director Reggie B giving updates from the Richmond Market and holding it down from 10 to 2 and NOW afternoon Drive Personality, Sheilah Belle, a.k.a. The Belle working the airwaves from 2p.m. to 7p.m.

With the help of a strong staff, volunteers and serious team work, the station out did itself!

At 7p.m. the Richmond Market raised more than $63,000, breaking its 2010 record by more than $20,000.

To everyone who called, made pledges and became partners, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Radio One says Thank You, for sowing a seed and making a difference in the life of a child and a family.
