TBR — Richmond, VA — The Forget Me Not Project is set and ready to take center stage for millions of people as it becomes the new voice for bringing awareness to Alzheimer’s.  This new approach will no doubt, raise the awareness of Alzheimer’s disease through the performing arts, science and entertainment.  Founded by Garrett Davis-Ambassador, playwright in honor of his late grandmother “Goodness’ who lost her battle to this devastating disease, Davis says, “The Forget Me Not Project is committed to research and clinical trials, caregiver support and the advancement of public policy while raising the awareness of Alzheimer’s disease throughout the United States.”

To that end, on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 7p.m., Davis, along with a long list of special invited guests, dignitaries, officials and pastors will host a special Town Hall meeting at 5th Baptist Church, 1415 West Cary Street, Richmond, VA at 7p.m., to discuss the need for better awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and how the community can help make a positive difference for those already affected by the disease.

Learn more about Alzheimer’s, the affects, warning signs and how to prepare and to be a better caregiver.
