One of the nation’s gospel greats is having a giant sale. Vickie Winans is giving up some of her worldly possessions and hosting an estate sale of items ranging from furs to designer outfits, including St. John suits.

“It’s going to be a shopper’s delight,” said Winans, a Bloomfield Hills resident. The huge sale was prompted by Winans cleaning out her Florida condo and some storage compartments containing items that are both new or rarely used, she said. The sale is an effort to get rid of extra belongings.

“I’ve got too much stuff,” explained Winans, who said it is her second estate sale in seven years.

The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday at two locations: Winans’ fashion accessories store Accents, 28801 Southfield, Lathrup Village, and The Upper Room in the Christian Entertainment Complex, 23821 Grand River, Detroit.

“I want to be able to bless people,” said Winans. “I’ve been blessed, so I want to bless people.”

Winans said there will be deep discounts on many of the items, which also include flat-screen televisions and computers.
