James “JJ” Hairston & Youthful Praise are back in action and expected to bring their inevitable energy of contemporary worship and endearing praise to the forefront with their brand new album “After This” available Tuesday, March 27th on Light Records.
The “After This” project is the gospel choir’s sixth musical offering and features the entire experience captured live this past summer at The First Cathedral in Bloomfield, CT. With special guest choir masters Bishop Hezekiah Walker (on “Lord of All”) and Tye Tribbett (on “Love Lifted Me”), expect to hear some exciting collaborations and that classic sound we’ve come to know and love since Youthful Praise burst onto the scene back in .
With a catalog of hits like “Lord, You’re Mighty,” “Awesome God,” “Resting on His Promise,” and their 2004 worship anthem “Incredible God, Incredible Praise” JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise continue to impact the sound of contemporary gospel around the globe today.
