Dallas, TX — Acclaimed Actress, NAACP Image Award Nominee and Dove Award-Winning Singer TAMELA MANN’s single, “Take Me To The King,” lands at #1 on the Billboard Gospel radio chart this week, marking the first #1 track of her career. “Take Me To The King,” written and produced by Kirk Franklin, is the first single from Tamela’s CD, BEST DAYS, which debuted at #1 on multiple music sales charts last week, including #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album Chart, Billboard’s Top Christian/Gospel Chart, and the Christian Music Trade Association’s (CMTA) Current Gospel Overall Chart.

“I’m excited to see the success of ‘Take Me To The King’ on the Gospel radio chart this week,” said Tamela. “This is new territory for me since it is my first #1 single. I’m enjoying the moment and am thankful for all of the support from my fans.”
