Governor Terry McAuliffe during his 100 days in office has granted the rights of over 800 former felons. Governor McAuliffe stated during our interviews while on the campaign that he believes in second chances for all Virginians.

Governor McAuliffe is true to his word, he visited 16 churches on Sunday with Delegate Lionell Spruill (D-District 77, Chesapeake), Delegate Matthew James (D-District 80, Portsmouth), Senator Louise L. Lucas (D-District 18, Portsmouth) and Senator Kenneth Alexander (D-District 5, Chesapeake). He believes that if someone has served their time, paid their debts to society, they deserve a second chance to be a participating member of society and be able to vote.
