It’s the Elevator attack that everyone is now talking about… Beyonce’s sister and fellow singer Solange Knowles seen allegedly attacking Jay Z in an elevator at a Met Gala party, according to a video posted by TMZ.

The three were all in attendance at the Met Gala last Monday before heading off to The Standard Hotel in New York for an after-party.

The video shows Knowles walking up to the rapper and brother-in-law apparently arguing about something and then punching and kicking him, while a bodyguard does his best to hold her back. The release video actually shows about three and a half minutes of an apparent disagreement, in which Bey says nothing.  About 58-second into the clip, Beyonce, 32, steps in between the two.

Meanwhile through the altercation, Jay Z, 44, seen in the video wearing in a white tux, does his best to stand away from Solange in the corner of the elevator and just put his hands to block her punches. for defense. However Solange continues to kick him, even with the bodyguard holding her.

Shortly after the alleged altercation, Beyoncé posted a message on Instagram.

The post read:

My Prayer to God,  Lord, I lift up every one of my relationships to You and ask You to bless them. I pray that each one would be glorifying to You. Help me to choose my friends wisely so I won’t be led astray. Give me discernment and strength to separate myself from anyone who is not a good influence. I release all my relationships to You and pray that Your will be done in each of them.

Meanwhile…How did the Video of Solange Knowles Allegedly Attacking Jay Z Get Released

The alleged video looks to be surveillance video and the Standard Hotel sent a statement to ABC News on the matter.

“We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests,” the statement reads. “We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity.”

Reps for both parties have not responded to requests for comment.
