Sheilah Belle “The Belle” has worked in the field of broadcast news, journalism and with the press for over 25 years. The Belle is also the Mid-Day host 10am to 3p.m., for one of the most powerful Gospel radio stations in the country with 100,000 watts of power, Monday through Friday @ Radio One’s Praise 104.7 FM, Richmond, VA. Among her many honors, Ms. Belle was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2005, has been honored by the Gospel Music Workshop of America Gospel Announcers Guild, with the Print Media Award for 2007, the Crystal Mic Award, Rhythm of Gospel Awards Print Media, several Community Service Awards and received two appointments by then Virginia Governor Douglas L. Wilder. She has worked as a News Reporter for BET, WWL TV 4 in New Orleans, WRIC-TV, Richmond, VA, The Light and the Sheraton Broadcasting Network, Health Producer, for the ABC Richmond, VA TV affiliate, and Talk Show Hostess from New Orleans to New York for television and radio. Ms. Belle also works as a Media Consultant and Publicist. She is now recognized as one of the most respected Multi-Media Journalist in the country and has become a highly requested Inspirational speaker as she continues to grow her ministry to inspire and uplift others. As a result, she is NOW doing more speaking engagements in Churches, Music Workshops, Conferences, and Non-Profit Organizations with topics ranging from Ministry to Social Media.

The Belle and G.I.backstage at Stone Soul
TBR — Richmond, VA — Some of the biggest names in Gospel and Hip Hop stopped in Richmond, VA over the weekend to help Radio One Soul celebrate its 10th Anniversary. Kicking off at 12noon, Saturday, May 30th, Radio One gave three local acts an opportunity to show off its chops. Following the new talent, Sheilah Belle, The Belle, opened up in prayer and also hosted the Gospel segment of the day.
Special guests included God’s Image (GI), Uncle Reece, Jekalyn Carr, Patrick Dopson, Byron Cage and Tye Tribbett.

Following the Gospel segment and a transition of emcee’s, with Cousin Keith and Cam Cooper, the talent roster included a heavy Hip-Hop presence and a couple of R & Bactsincluding Mila J, George Tandy, CA$H OUT, Ty Dolla $ign, Sebastian Mikael, Cameosis, Mack Wilds, Vic, Rico Love, Lil Mo, 112, LiL Boosie, Keyshia Cole and 50 Cent.
Held again at the Richmond International Raceway Complex, there was standing room only by the end of the night!
Also hosting for the evening were Community Clovia, TT Torez, Philly Phil, Paris and King Tutt.
