GeneratiONE Church is a new church in Huntersville, NC bringing a different way to worship. This new church is being called a urban, hip hop church.
Remember the story about a Winston-Salem, NC pastor that was fired because he went to a Rick Ross concert? Well one Pastor thinks that attending or participating in hip hop with the church is OK.
Pastor Quinn Rodgers says,
“Early hip hop culture was a consciousness,” says Rodgers. “It brought about a social and economic awareness that challenged individuals to examine themselves and change. And when i look at the church we are challenged as Christians to do the same with our walk with Christ.”
Last week Rodgers launched GeneratiONE Church to help get the attention of the younger generation to come to Christ.
